First they have to lock up Zimmerman long-term. If you sign Fielder before Zimmerman it will cost the Nats a lot of money or in two years Zimmerman will be wearing a Red Sox jersey. Among the factors might be how they always sign autographs for the kids before a game, it might be their fundamental approach and how they always play hard, it might be their funny or down-to-earth personality, it might be something in their bio that intrigues me.
